Simone Scarpa, Postdoctoral Fellow, REMESO, presents his research beyond the limitations of the conventional two-group approach, which leads to an underestimation of differences in the spatial assimilation trajectories of more narrowly defined groups. Stockholm Metropolitan Area is used as a case study by analysing the residential patterns of a wide range of national-origin groups and considering simultaneously their reciprocal spatial distances.
