Campus LiU 2015

Project Campus LiU 2015 is a programme of facility initiatives aimed at creating propose-designed learning environments and workplaces to help LiU become more competitive. As part of the project, measures will be implemented on the three campus areas in Linköping and Norrköping.

Refurbishment of Zenit and D begins

Studenthuset stands completed, and now the refurbishment of the D Building (Stage 2) and Zenit has started, with planned completion by October 2020. In Norrköping, the Properties Division is looking for new premises for the Trappan student union facility. The Campus LiU project is continuing at pace.

How it was built – in 30 seconds

Studenthuset has been two years in the making. The first spade in the ground was set in 2017: now the opening is upon us. We present a short film of the construction: How it was built – in 30 seconds.

Östgöta Kök to open in Studenthuset

Östgöta Kök has been awarded the contract to operate the restaurant in the new Studenthuset. Just in time for the start of the autumn term, Fresh Market by Östgöta Kök will open its doors, offering a menu in which vegetarian food occupies pride of place.

Sneak preview of the new Student Building

The Student Building will open at the beginning of August. Come and follow us on a sneak preview of the new meeting point on Campus Valla, where Café Baljan, the Infocentre, and much more will be located.

Reused furniture in the Student Building

When the Student Building opens its doors in the autumn of 2019, much of the furniture will be reused furniture, with a considerable part coming from Bomullsspinneriet. Interior designer Petra Bergman has let her imagination roam free.
