He studied the psychology programme at LiU and is a licensed psychologist. During this time he was project leader for Sweden’s first national conference for psychology students.

In 2009, Oskar Henrikson co-founded Psykologifabriken (the Psychology Factory), with the aim of spreading research on leadership and group processes to a broader public. In 2014 he founded and became CEO of Habitud – the psychological gym. He received a lot of publicity when he tested his own tips for creating a new habit: swimming outdoors every day for a whole year.

She has completed an MSc in Media Technology at LiU – but even while she was still studying she worked to raise women’s awareness of the opportunities offered by the tech sector. She later got a job at Spotify as a student ambassador, before working her way up to the position of Global Innovation Manager.

In early 2017, aged just 27, Sofie Lindblom became CEO and co-founder of the global innovation platform ideation360. Awards she has received include Microsoft's IT Girl for 2014, one of the business magazine Veckans Affärer’s 2016 Super Talents and one of the 50 most inspiring women in the IT sector in Europe 2017.

With the Alumni of the Year award, Linköping University honours former students who have made valuable contributions and shown exceptional commitment. This is the seventh year LiU has presented the award. Oskar Henrikson and Sofie Lindblom will receive the award at a ceremony on 12 October at Campus Valla.
