Helen Dannetun named Visionary of the Year 

LiU’s Vice-Chancellor Helen Dannetun was recently named Visionary of the Year, for the university’s strong focus on development and its ability to think innovatively.

We’re honoured,” said Vice-Chancellor Dannetun.

Youthful attitude and engagement

The jury wrote: ”The winner is a true visionary with a huge interest in development and the ability to think innovatively. With a youthful attitude, experience, engagement and the ability to get her staff on board, the winner makes waves locally as well as internationally. She helps deliver top-level expertise to the public and business sectors.”

The award was presented at the recent Näringslivsgalan – a gala event for the business and public sectors – in Linköping. Initiators are Nulink (Linköping’s office for trade and industry) and Mediehuset Corren, local newspaper publisher. Partners are EY, Handelsbanken, Länsförsäkringar Östgöta, Stångåstaden and Riksbyggen.
