Linköping University continues its climb in the Times Higher Education ranking. LiU now ranks amongst the 300 best universities in the world.
In first place comes California Institute of Technology, followed by Oxford and Stanford.
The Swedish universities are led by Karolinska Institutet in 28th place, followed by Uppsala and Lund, at 81st and 90th respectively. LiU now sits in the range between 251-300, a huge jump up from last year’s placing at 360. LiU’s improvement is mainly due to better results in the Citations category.
A total of 801 universities were ranked worldwide.
