My research

Magnetic resonance imaging can be made sensitive to the stochastic motion of fluid molecules in biological tissue and materials. 

Any influence on this motion — most importantly the microscopic structure of the tissue or material — can therefore be made to impart a signature on their magnetic resonance radiation. I study these signatures on various models of microscopic structure, trying to illuminate what properties can be revealed under what design of magnetic fields.
