PhD student

My research focuses on the study of the brain employing methods that integrate multiple MRI modalities. I am also interested in the development of novel statistical methods for fMRI data analysis.

I currently participate in a project with the company Elekta with the goal of examining the benefits of employing fMRI data in the preoperative planning of brain tumor resection.

I am also collaborating with researchers from Lund University in developing diffusion-informed methods for fMRI activation mapping in white matter.

Biomedical Image Science

We develop methods & techniques for depicting anatomy & function in the human body & its organs. From imaging techniques, through methods of analysis and quantification of image information, to validation of new methods and image-based biomarkers

Bayesian fMRI tumour

In this CENIIT project, Bayesian methods for fMRI informed brain tumour treatment planning, the goal is to improve treatment of brain tumours, by including images of brain activity in Elektas software for tumour treatment planning.
