Research Engineer

I have a background in cognitive neuroscience and applied positive psychology. My main research interests concern stress and emotion regulation, treatments for mental health disorders (especially anxiety), and ways to enhance well-being.

I am currently working as a research assistant in Leah Mayo's Affective Neuroscience Lab, and in India Morrison's Embodied Brain Lab.

The main study I am involved in is a clinical trial for a drug for posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) that Mayo is leading. I use both behavioral, psychophysiological (e.g. facial EMG), and brain imaging (e.g. fMRI) methods, and also handle blood samples for later analysis.
