My research focuses on bridging product development with production development in order to facilitate the engineering more efficiently. This interest origins from my industrial experience in the area of production of consumer electronics and management as well as my experience as an industrial PhD student. I have experience from both industry and academy - today acting from an academy.
My network within Swedish industry covering huge companies such as automotive companies, SMEs from both the mechanical engineering area and the wood industry area, but also within electronic and biomedical industry.
My teaching is mainly focusing on engineering decisions in different types of courses – both related to production and product development as well as material selection, mainly at the Mechanical Engineering, Industrial engineering and management, Design and Product development programme at Linköping University since 2006.
I am passionate about bridging the gap between the industry and academy in order to support the both areas in the best and most efficient way. This can be achieved in several ways, such as collaborative research, educational development according to the continuously improved demands that the industry is facing and inviting guest lecturers from the industry to my courses.
