Martin Lindvall's research explores the human and technical factors that lead to successful human-machine cooperation when humans interact with artificial intelligence within the domain of medical imaging. His research areas are primarily human computer interaction and technological design. Secondarily the research involves medical visualization, machine learning and artificial intelligence

Martin holds a M.Sc in Cognitive Science from Linköping University and has worked as a software designer for medical information systems since 2008. Since 2016 he is pursuing his Ph.D in Visualization & Design under the supervision of Jonas Löwgren and Anders Ynnerman.
