About me

I got my B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Shanghai University of Technology, Shanghai, China, and my Licentiate of Engineering and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Linkoping University, Sweden.

After receiving his Ph.D., I worked as a researcher at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Linkoping University from 1989 to 1992. I then joined the faculty of Engineering, National University of Singapore and worked as a senior lecturer at the Department of Electrical Engineering.

In 1998, I joined the Department of Science and Technology, Linkoping University, Sweden. My research interests are in the fields of image processing, computer vision and digital communication systems.

Research and teaching

I participate in these research projects:

  • Smart city with Internet of tings
  • Application-Reconfigurable Radio and Radar Platform for Enhancing Education and Research at Campus Norrköping

I am also a teacher in Electronic Design.
