The common denominator in my research is peptides. From peptide libraries and antimicrobial peptides to self-assembly of peptide functionalized polymers and nanoparticles.

Peptides, a corner stone in all organisms, can be chemically produced with exact precision to yield programable biomolecules with diverse functions.

My research involves designing and synthesizing peptides for the fabrication of self-assembling soft materials for applications in biomedicine and biotechnology; including biosensors, drug delivery, regenerative medicine and antibiotics
