Abhijeet Behera successfully defended his doctoral thesis, with the title " “Performance and Safety Assessment of Articulated Heavy Vehicles using Traffic Data and Simulation" on December 12th.

Abhijeet is an institute PhD student at Vehicular Systems and the Swedish National Road and Transport Research Institute (VTI). He was supervised by Docent Sogol Kharrazi, Linköping University and VTI, and Professor Erik Frisk, Linköping University. The opponent was Professor Timothy Gordon, University of Lincoln.
