Linköping University cancels Open Day at Campus Norrköping

Linköping University will not hold the Open Day at Campus Norrköping planned for 19 March. Information about studying and education will instead be distributed in the university’s digital channels.

“As a consequence of the government decision to prohibit general gatherings and public arrangements with more than 500 participants, and in order to help to limit the spread of infection, we have chosen to replace the physical meeting of the Open Day at Campus Norrköping by digital information”, says Christina Almtun, project manager.

The Open Day is intended for people who are interested in studying at Linköping University, and who are looking to find out more about what it’s like to study here. The event usually attracts around 1500 people.

“We will instead look at digital solutions to provide the information about our education, studying, accommodation, and student life that visitors usually receive at the Open Day”, says Christina Almtun.
