Safer ambulance practice

Almost all care procedures that are performed during pre-hospital transport are affected by the forces and noise that high driving speeds entail. This is shown in a report by researchers from Linköping university and VTI, The Swedish Road and Transport Research Institute.

In a pilot study, researchers have investigated which transport related factors have an effect on the quality of care in an ambulance, and how these could be investigated further in an ambulance simulator.
