Course content

The course is a design course in a studio environment and the course contents are therefore created independently by the design student in consultation with the supervisor and fellow students, based on the aims of the course. This is done in relation to the application of design methodology on a design problem within the given context, using relevant theories and tools from fields of significance to the design process, the design context and the design objects, work with evaluating design objects and their qualities, and using design perspectives.

The learning takes place in studio form through seminars, peer-review and criticism. The student is also expected to study independently, individually or in groups.
