Sustainable energy production is one of the main factors in fighting climate change. In most cases this means development of wind- and solar power on an industrial scale. The biggest potential for future growth, however, can be found in small scale plants. Energy is produced and used locally. This course deals with design, dimensioning and operation of small scale wind power, solar power and solar heat plants.
The course is designed as a distance course and all activities can be carried out from home. Online-lectures deliver the theoretical parts, while labs and seminars are carried out on online-cooperation platsforms. The individual final result will be based on an individual task submitted by the end of the course. Participants can choose from more than 30 different tasks depending on your personal preference.
