Inaugural lectures visiting professor in the name of Tage Danielsson and Moa Martinson

Welcome to attend the installation ceremony of Athena Farrokhzad, visiting Professor in the name of Tage Danielsson, and Neferti X. M. Tadiar, visiting Professor in the name of Moa Martinson.

During the ceremony, the guest professors will be welcomed by Deputy Vice-Chancellor Karin Axelsson, the faculty of IKOS, among others. The professors will give inaugural lectures in their respective fields. Parts of the programme will be conducted in Swedish.

After the ceremony, there will be a reception. The end time is approximate. Registration is required.

Athena Farrokhzad föreläser om skrivandets översättning mellan erfarenhet och form och hur världens nöd kan ta sig uttryck i ett rim, i hennes egen poesi såväl som hos Tage Danielsson.

The Poetics of Emergency Rhyme

Athena Farrokhzad lectures on the translation of writing between experience and form, and how the world's distress can be expressed in a rhyme, both in her own poetry and in that of Tage Danielsson.
