CWUR uses eight indicators to rank the world’s top 1000 universities. The indicators are about quality of education; alumni employment, number of academics who have won major international awards, prizes and medals; publications; citations; broad impact and patents.
This year, eleven Swedish higher education institutions are on the list of the world’s 1000 top universities. Linköping University ranks #355 worldwide and #8 in Sweden.
Compared to last years’ ranking LiU is holding its position, even if the ranking is somewhat lower than 2014 when LiU ranked #302.
