This course will introduce the field of philosophy of policymaking. The focus is, therefore, on applied areas of policy, where both questions of ethical theory and philosophy of science play important roles. We will discuss topics ranging from the regulation of gambling and drug-use, via policy questions regarding poverty and disability, to problems regarding democracy.
