This course equips the student to use data in supporting decision-making and developing products and services. The course is designed in three modules:
(1) a practical module in which they are introduced to BI and data warehousing technologies, and develop BI dashboards to support organisational decision-making,
(2) a project-led module in which the students collaborate to develop a data-driven business model, and
(3) a reflective module in which the critical aspects of the data economy are discussed and debated.
In the course, you will meet students from different programs, which provides a diversity of experiences and enriches our discussions and your projects!
