The course offers a practical and theoretical in-depth study of outdoor education, leadership, and outdoor recreation in water environments. The aim is that students develops knowledge, experience, and skills in Friluftsliv and outdoor life so that they can plan, carry out, and evaluate different kinds of outdoor activities safely both individually and in groups. This is done as a journey mixing theory and practice in a natural manner. Covering safety, personal skills, leadership in water sports, navigations, first aid, leadership, basic campcraft and outdoor life. There is a digital element at the start of the course as well as after completion, so as to get aquainted ahead of the trip, reflect on completion and cover important theoretical aspects. It is desirable that students have previous experience in outdoor life.
