BME@LiU 2025

Programme overview

The 2025 conference brought together 250 participants, who could choose from more than 30 presentations. As Linköping University celebrated its 50th anniversary, the conference opened with a presentation on the development of biomedical engineering at the university.

Sessions

The parallel morning sessions focused on the following themes:

  • Novel Instruments, Biosensors and Biomaterials
  • Modelling and AI
  • eHealth and Clinical Implementation

In the afternoon, attention shifted to the following areas:

  • Life Science Technologies (LSX), an initiative at LiU where eight recipients of interdisciplinary seed grants presented collaborative research projects.
  • Medical Imaging and Visualisation, a clinically oriented session addressing the use of emerging technologies in specific medical challenges and in education.
