The course includes lectures on literature reviews, searching literature, data management, strategic publishing, scientific communication, publishing ethics, and bibliometrics. The rapid development of generative AI tools has significantly impacted research practices. As a result, the course includes sessions on appropriate and inappropriate uses of AI throughout the research process.
The course will give you a good foundation for your thesis work and consists of a series of independent lectures. If you complete the entire course, you will receive a diploma. The university library lacks formal examination rights, but the course corresponds to 3 hp credits. If you want, you are also welcome to submit an assignment for examination.

- The course is free of charge for PhD students.
- As a participant in the entire course, you will have access to a Lisam room with information resources.
- If you attend all sessions, you will receive a diploma, and get the possibility to submit an assignment for examination.
