Technology Procurement - local policy mean for energy efficient business

Teknikupphandling

The aim of this project is to contribute increased knowledge as to how municipalities can stimulate commercial actors to implement energy-efficient measures. This could be accomplished through, for example, collective technology procurements for companies with similar investment needs.

The project will also establish generalizable and applicable models of how municipalities might design commercial networks that could contribute to increased energy efficiency in small and medium-size industries. One model is based on the work done by Tranås Municipality, another on the experience of Eskilstuna Municipality.

The project also discusses the impediments and opportunities that the companies see in measures to increase energy efficiency and the kinds of advice and support they would like from various instances, such as municipalities.

The project is being carried out in collaboration with Tranås Municipality.
