We are pleased to invite you to a research seminar with Professor Paul Carlile from Boston University. The seminar, titled "A Pragmatic Approach to Knowledge in Contexts of Innovation," will delve into Professor Carlile's recent article published in Human Relations, focusing on collaboration across domains and organisations and different types of knowledge work that take place in such spaces - set in the digital health care industry, but with findings that transcends industries and disciplinary confines.
During the seminar, Paul Carlile will also connect to his earlier seminal work from 2002 and 2004 on managing knowledge boundaries, and e.g., link to how it is possible to access knowledge work outside of any formal organisation and see not only the type of knowledge work but also how it accumulated in ways that allow for sustainable innovation projects in the end.
