In this webinar, organised by The Posthumanities Hub, Emma Bigé and Erin Manning explore the minor potentials of somatic practices to resist oppression. They engage with our relational and (more-than-)bodily natures to trace out minor choreographies of life-living. They explore minor gestures as lines of flight – movements that slip away from, reconfigure, or exceed the stratifications of whiteness, cissexism, and neurotypicality. How can dance or autistic perception help us attune to the more-than-human nature of the bodies and ecologies we are part of? How can somatic abolitionism help us move towards the end of systemic violence while caring for ourselves and each other in the here and now?
The webinar will be in English and everyone interested is welcome to join!
