Studying abroad as a freemover

You can also organise your studies abroad as a freemover, i.e. by making your own arrangements. Going abroad as a freemover takes more time and planning than going under an exchange agreement, but also gives you the freedom to choose from a wider array of courses and universities worldwide. As a freemover, you have to pay for this exchange yourself, as you are not applying under any of our exchange agreements.

Traineeships abroad

If you are looking for a diverse working experience, you may be interested in a traineeship abroad. This will give you new perspectives on what you have learned during your studies. You may be well aware of what a specific job entails in Sweden, but a traineeship abroad may provide new insights that will come in handy in your coming career. It is also an opportunity to practise your language skills and get a foot in the door of the labour market in another country. You can apply for a scholarship under the Erasmus Programme for traineeships in the EU/EEA.
