Ongoing research collaborations include:

  • Karolinska Institute/Sophiahemmet University, Sweden. PI Professor Eva Skillgate. Project: Injury surveillance study youth football – Karolinska Football Injury Surveillance Cohort. Funded by the Swedish Resarch Council for Sport Sciences.
  • Karolinska Institute/Sophiahemmet University, Sweden. PI Associate professor Martin Asker. Project: Karolinska Handball Study. Funded by the Swedish Resarch Council for Sport Sciences.
  • Umeå University, Sweden: PI Taru Tervo PhD. Project: Injury surveillance study in youth elite floorball - Risk factors for injury in floorball players. Funded by the Swedish Floorball Federation and Umeå University.
  • La Trobe University, Australia. PI Professor Kay Crossley. Project: RCT in women’s Australian football - Making football safe for women: implementing an injury prevention program. Funded by the National Health and Research Council, Australia.
  • Norwegian School of Sports Sciences. PI Associate professor Hege Grindem and professor Grethe Myklebust. Project: Fewer Youth in Norwegian Emergency Rooms (FYNER) – preventing injuries in youth sport through an interdisciplinary and theory-based approach. Funded by the Research Council of Norway.
