A further step has been taken along the road to manufacturing solar cells from lead-free perovskites. High quality films based on double perovskites have been developed in collaboration between LiU and NTU in Singapore.

The Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation is donating SEK 50 million to Nanyang Technological University. The donation will provide financing for 25 young researchers from all over the world to spend one year in Singapore and one year in Sweden.
