The aim of the project EAN is to develop decision support tools for electric aircraft network development. This includes demand modeling and market analysis, considering different types of aircraft as well as other means of transportation.

We develop mathematical models and algorithmic solutions for challenges in air traffic management and air transportation.

Remote controlling air traffic has been implemented as a cost effective solution. In addition to ensure safety, we must take into account the tools needed, law restrictions and working environments at the positions. The KODIC project deals with this.

Automated systems collaborating with humans will be better if they get to know the user through artificial intelligence compared with traditional systems that the user has to learn. This is shown in a recent study involving air traffic controllers.
