Management of natural resources is about water management, land use and nutrient flows, as well as sustainable energy production. In case studies  we develop and improve analytical tools and frameworks for improved resource management.

The efficiency of biological, chemical and physical pre-treatments on methane production is being evaluated through a meta-analysis in order to evaluate what pre-treatments alone or combine result in a higher methane yield.

Agriculture is seriously affected by climate changes. This project studies how agriculture can cope with such changes and what effects various adaptation measures may have, based on new methods that include visualization, participation and gaming.
