The control systems in aircraft have been essentially unchanged for over 50 years. Now, however, the future of aeronautical engineering is taking shape at LiU. Researchers here are using an “iron bird” from Saab, equipped with the latest technology.

During the Swedish Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics’ annual meeting in 2022, Svjetlana Stekovic was awarded the diploma “Female role model of the year in aeronautics” for her work in aeronautics.
