Help for applicants

How to apply

To submit an application, you first need to register an account. You do this when you click to apply. You fill in an application form, answer the questions and attach the requested appendices.

Please note that your application must be registered no later than 23.59 on the specified deadline date.

Assessment of your application

To facilitate the assessment of your application, an online application form is provided. The selection of applications is made on basis of the registered qualifications and training. Therefore, please complete the form carefully.

Questions about the content of the position

If you have any questions about the position, please contact one of the relevant persons specified in the announcement.

Possibilities with a user profile

If you would like to create an account before you submit your application, the "Sign In or Sign Up"-button located above the list of available jobs. Once you have an account you will not need to fill in your personal details each time you wish to submit an application. An overview of your applications can be found in your registered account and you have the opportunity to supplement your submitted application (before the deadline date). Please, remember to update your account, if any information changes.

Technical problems

If you encounter technical problems when completing the application, please contact support.reachmee@liu.se. The support is open Monday-Friday between 09.00-15.00.

Submit your application in an alternative way

We require that you first submit your application electronically through our recruitment tool. If you are unable to do so, you may send your application by e-mail or regular mail. Remember to enter the reference number of the position you are applying for. You'll find the reference number in the ad, under the heading. The application is then preferably sent electronically with documents attached in pdf format to registrator@liu.se, or else to:

Applicants’ guide to documenting teaching skills

Applies to you who are applying for a teaching position or applying for a proficiency test for promotion.

At Linköping University we place great importance on the teaching skills of the applicant. Since 2023, there has been an established definition of pedagogical expertise at LiU. When applying for a teaching position, pedagogical expertise will be assessed based on LiU's definition.
