Psychology is the scientific study of people's perceptions, experiences and behaviours, and psychological research can be conducted in both naturalistic and experimental situations.

At Linköping, our research in psychology examines groups and social psychology, cognitive and clinical psychology, developmental psychology and cognitive pedagogical psychology. Research is conducted at both theoretical and applied levels. The postgraduate education programme in psychology comprises 240 credits, of which 60 is for course modules and 180 for an individual dissertation.
