Contract education course: Honour-based structures

The purpose of this course is to raise awareness about the possible implications and manifestations of honour-based structures, as well as to acquire knowledge about dealing with those who are influenced by such structures.

Honour-based structures are patterns that restrict an individual's rights and liberties in deference to the honour of a family member.

The purpose of the contract education course is to provide an understanding of honour-related oppression and abuse while offering participants and organisations tools for dealing with associated issues.

The classroom sessions describe Swedish legislation and review case studies of ways to combat and prevent honour-related oppression and abuse.

Contract education at the Division of Nursing Science

At the Division of Nursing Science we offer skills development for municipalities, county councils, public authorities, businesses and other organisations.

Division of Nursing Sciences and Reproductive Health (ORH)

We carry out education and research in nursing. We run the nursing program in Linköping and Norrköping, as well as the Midwife program and 7 programs on an advanced level for specialist nurses.
