Innovation and entrepreneurship are considered keys to success in many industries. For decades Sweden has been a global leader in innovation, and many well-known inventions such as the ball bearing, safety match and dynamite, and innovative firms such as Ericsson and SKF got their start here. More recent innovative Swedish firms are Spotify and Skype.

This course enables students to study innovation and entrepreneurship in a Swedish context. Students will get knowledge of international state-of-the-art research and theories of entrepreneurship and innovation. In addition, students discuss examples based on case studies of Swedish and international firms. The course is organised in lectures, seminars, case studies, readings and student presentations.
