The printed skin is tested in both in vitro models of wound healing, as well as small and large animal models. Outcome parameters include analysis of specific markers related to wound healing and objective measures of wound healing and scar formation. The research is a collaborative effort between Linköping University, Sahlgrenska Academy and the Chalmers University of Technology.
