Variables recorded include patient gender and age, time of arrival, condition at arrival, the mode of transport and type of incident. Descriptive data include time of the accident, arrival time, mechanism of injury and interventions performed. Vital signs are measured during arrival and admission. Time spent in the ED and the numbers of treatment days are registered.
