LiU Exchange Partner Day 2025
To strengthen our partnerships and in celebration of Linköping University's 50th anniversary as well as the return of EAIE to Sweden, we are delighted to invite you to Linköping University's partner day on Monday 8 September 2025, just before the start of the EAIE Conference 2025 in Gothenburg.
Preliminary agenda
We invite you to explore the following opportunities:
- Learn about Linköping University (LiU) and what we can offer your students
- Enjoy networking opportunities with our partners
- Meet International Coordinators and faculty staff at LiU
- Visit our main campus (Campus Valla, in Linköping)
On Monday, 8 September, we will start at 09:00. The morning will include an introduction to Linköping University:
- Welcome to Linköping University by Professor Karin Axelsson, Deputy Vice-Chancellor
- Introduction to exchange studies at LiU
- Guided campus tour
After lunch, in the afternoon, participants are welcome to attend specialised sessions organised by our various faculties:
- Faculty of Arts and Sciences: Participants will be welcomed with an introduction to the Faculty of Arts and Sciences (Social Sciences, Business, Humanities), covering our education, research, and international exchange. The programme also includes networking activities, such as a crash course in Swedish. There will also be an opportunity to connect with specific academic areas based on the subject area of your exchange agreement (i.e. Business/Economics, Statistics). Please let us know your preferences in the comments section below.
- Faculty of Educational Sciences: Participants will be welcomed with an introduction to the Faculty of Educational Sciences. We will introduce our Teacher Education Programs and how teacher training is organized at LiU and in our 12 decentralised campus. You will meet the international coordinators, students and teachers while learning more about our courses offered in English.
- Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences: Participants will be welcomed with a brief introduction to the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences; highlighting Problem Based Learning (PBL) – a pedagogical method used in all the programmes at the faculty, a presentation of our two English-taught programmes, our unique Orientation Week Programme and a meeting with the Academic Coordinators and incoming students.
- Faculty of Science and Engineering: Participants will be welcomed with a brief introduction to the Faculty of Science and Engineering and our collaboration with Industry followed by a lab visit.
Networking opportunities will be scheduled and a joint dinner will be held in the evening.
Arriving early?
For our guests arriving in Linköping during the weekend, we will arrange a partner dinner on Sunday evening (at your own expense). We will contact Partner Day participants with further details at a later date.

The Partner Day will be held at Campus Valla, our university's largest campus situated outside the city centre.
