By registering for this event you give your consent to the processing by Linköping University of the personal data that you specify in your registration. Linköping University will process your personal data for the purposes of being able to send relevant information to you before the event, and to follow up and evaluate the event.

The personal data will be processed in the following manner:

The personal data will be stored in our database, which is provided by our subcontractor, Mira Network AB. Administrative personnel at the university have access to your personal data, as do those people in the student sections who work with alumni issues. It is possible that your data may be passed on to LiU Holding AB (which is owned by Linköping University, and works with collaboration).

Where relevant, such as in the case of international events, your personal data may be passed on to Swedish embassies outside Sweden.

The data will be used for the purposes described above and as specified by this consent document. The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is that you have given consent. We will store your data until the event has been concluded and we have evaluated it, with a limit of 12 months after the event.

You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. This is done by contacting the registrar at registrator@liu.se. In this case, we will cease processing the personal data that we have collected on the basis of this consent. If, however, you withdraw your consent before the event takes place, you will not be able to participate in it. Data that are included in results that have already been reached will, however, not be influenced by your withdrawal of consent. Further, certain information may be archived as specified by Swedish legislation.

You have the right to obtain information about the personal data about you that we process. You also have the right to have erroneous personal data about yourself corrected. If you have any complaints about our processing of your personal data, you can contact our data protection officer at: dataskyddsombud@liu.se. You also have the right to file a complaint at the supervisory authority (which in this case is the Swedish Data Protection Authority) if you consider that we are processing your personal data in an unauthorised manner.
