Educational policy is a hot topic in public debate and the philosophy of childhood is a quickly growing field of research. These are also fields that are different from many other policy areas in that they take the interest of children, rather than adults, as a starting point. This course combines normative theory of educational policy with the philosophy of childhood, with the aim of providing students with the tools necessary for developing policy in the field of education.
