This course equips students with structured information security knowledge, the ability to assess vulnerabilities and threats within a given context, and the skills to outline the contents of a security plan and perform a basic evaluation of security products. It imparts expertise in various specific areas, such as analysis, availability, identity verification, authorization control, and encryption. 

The course is offered entirely online, with no on-campus meetings. Computer proficiency is recommended.
