Abdul Manan Dar holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering from IIUM (Malaysia), where he focused on prosthetic limb design. He pursued his MSc in Biomedical Engineering at Linköping University (Sweden), specializing in organic electronic ion pump (OEIP) devices for hormone and drug delivery.
With a year of research assistantship at the Electronic Plants group, he delved into drug delivery devices and MEA technology for plant electrophysiology. Currently he continues his research as a PhD student at the Electronic Plants group at the Laboratory of Organic Electronics in Linköping University. In his PhD he combines clean room microfabrication with advanced electrochemical techniques, aiming to advance bioelectronic applications in plant physiology.
His expertise involves bioelectronics device fabrication, including multielectrode array design and electrophysiology signal analysis, organic electrochemical transistors, and wearable electronics.
