My research focuses on one of the most common procedures in healthcare – vascular catheters. Within a large and rapidly expanding range of catheter types, each with its own strengths and clinical uses, I work to understand which patients benefit from which solution. I have a particular focus on patients who are difficult to cannulate, an area where we still lack knowledge about which options actually work best. My goal is to match the right catheter to the right person – to reduce complications and create safer, more personalized care.
