My research is situated within the field of Information Systems and Digitalization, with a focus on socio-technical systems, digital transformation, and sustainability.

Presentation

I study digital transformation from a socio-technical perspective, exploring how digital technologies are adopted, understood, and integrated into organizational and societal contexts. Drawing on Information Systems research, I investigate the relationships between technology, users, governance structures, and everyday practices, with particular attention to how digitalization contributes to sustainable and inclusive societal change.
My current research focuses on the digitalization of energy systems, particularly smart grids, smart meter technologies, and energy communities. I examine how digital infrastructures, data-driven technologies, and collaborative forms of governance influence participation, engagement, and decision-making in the energy transition. I explore how technological innovations are implemented and governed in practice, and how their outcomes are shaped by social, organizational, and institutional contexts.
