My current research focuses on the digitalization of energy systems, particularly smart grids, smart meter technologies, and energy communities. I examine how digital infrastructures, data-driven technologies, and collaborative forms of governance influence participation, engagement, and decision-making in the energy transition. I explore how technological innovations are implemented and governed in practice, and how their outcomes are shaped by social, organizational, and institutional contexts.
