With a solid background in boatbuilding, I contribute to the unique expertise gathered within the walls of Campus Lidingö. As a former design student at Malmstens, I can relate to the education and the different stages the students go through, which gives me a deeper understanding of their development and challenges. I have a great interest in traditional craftsmanship combined with modern techniques. The knowledge I contribute in my role at Malmstens enables me to meet students at various stages of their education. The close relationship between students and teachers is unique and creates a dynamic environment where we all have the opportunity to develop – both as educators and students.
A wise colleague at Malmstens often says: To look ahead, you first need to look back. This idea permeates both my work as a teacher and my role as a designer – and it is a cornerstone of the education at Malmstens.
I teach and mentor students in the design program and also teach digital tools. When I'm not at Malmstens, I run my own design studio and take on assignments for various industry players, including IKEA of Sweden.
