Telecom Engineer with a PhD in Industrial Engineering and Management, retired Brazilian Army colonel with experience in project management, BPM, and leadership, including roles as instructor and military unit commander.

Presentation

I am a Telecommunications Engineer with a Master's in Electrical Engineering and a PhD in Industrial Engineering and Management. As a retired colonel of the Brazilian Army, I bring over 30 years of experience in project management, business process management, and leadership. My military career began as a platoon commander in the Signal Corps, followed by roles as an instructor at the Military Academy of Agulhas Negras and commander of a military unit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Research

My research explores the development of innovation capabilities, with a recent focus on digital transformation and living labs.

My research interests focus on the Brazilian defence industry and the strategies adopted by firms in emerging economies to develop innovation capabilities. More recently, my work has been dedicated to the digital transformation of business and the role of living labs in promoting innovative solutions for mobility and sustainability in urban environments.
