Yuri Tanuma

Postdoc

Theoretical and experimental nanocarbon scientist

Yuri Tanuma received her Ph.D. in 2022 from Nantes University and Toyo University. After research experiences at Hokkaido University and Jožef Stefan Institute, she joined LiU in 2025.

Her research interests are experimental and theoretical investigations of carbon-based nanomaterials, including carbon nanorings, fullerenes, and their derivatives. Her current focus is on radical analysis by electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) and theoretical investigation of organic light-emitting diode (OLED) molecules by quantum calculations based on density functional theory (DFT).
