My research goal is to fabricate new functional molecules/nanomaterials for biomedical, environmental, and energy technologies.

Dr. Zhangjun Hu is an Assoc. Prof. in Molecular Surface Physics and Nanoscience (MOLYT) division. He had been Assistant Prof. at Linköping University (2014-2018), Postdoc Fellow at Linköping University (2010-2014) and Tongji University (2008-2010); He received his Docent from Linköping University (2018), Ph.D. (2008), and B.S. (2002) from Anhui University.

Research

Dr. Zhangjun works in interdisciplinary areas between chemistry, materials, physics, biology, and environmental science with a focus on the design and development of new functional molecules/nanomaterials. His current research interests focus on the molecules, complexes, and nanomaterials for biomedical imaging/sensing (e.g., Anal. Chem., Small, Angew. Chem. Int Ed., Nano Research, etc.), and the functional materials for new sustainable purposes such as perovskite OLED/solar cells (e.g., Science, Joule, Nature Commun. etc.), lithium battery (LIBs), water splitting, nitrogen reduction, and surface coating.
